Our research standards
How ForeGaze Research chooses, dates and labels what it reports.
Sources and dates
We use 2026 data first, then 2025. 2024 appears only as a comparison, and older data only as labeled history. Every headline figure carries its year and a plain-word note on how far to trust it, such as vendor claim, self-reported, trade press, official record, not confirmed or our reading. We read the source data, not only reports about it. Where we could not confirm a figure, we say so and mark it not confirmed.
Reliability labels
Each claim is labeled with who says it, who it covers and what role it plays in the post. Labels are our judgment, based on our findings. We may update them when more information is provided by the relevant parties, and each change is dated on the post.
Who says it (standing)
- Official record
- Statute, rule text, regulator or agency publication, or a government dataset.

- Survey by a party with no product to sell on the result; method stated.
- Association survey
- Survey or case study reported by members of an association (self-reported).
- Vendor claim
- A vendor's own view, product claim or vendor-commissioned study. Say whose.
- Sponsored research
- Research paid for by an interested party. Say who paid.
- Trade press
- Press or trade-press report of someone else's data.
- Secondary source
- Cites another source; read the original before use.

What it does for the post (role)
- Direct evidence
- Evidence for the claim the post makes.
- Context
- A parallel comparison or background; it frames the claim and does not prove it.
- Early signal
- An early or anecdotal indicator, such as news; not data.
Caveats that can be added: self reported, small sample, estimate, sponsored, vendor claim, unverified, not confirmed, dated, single source.
Independence
No paid, referral, partner or affiliate ties to any company named here. Every provider is judged on the same evidence, with the sources shown. The research, views and analysis are our own.
Corrections and replies
Spotted an error, or represent a company named here? Write to hello@foregaze.ai. We fix errors, date each change and publish company responses. Companies named in a post are sent the items about them before publication and may reply. The first five posts were published without that step; replies to them are printed as received.
